Let's Party at The Barnes Foundation

Let's Party at The Barnes Foundation

The Opera on the Mall and the Philadelphia Orchestra Free College Concert have come and gone, but the fun is not over yet! There is one final event of the College Night Series. Get ready to party and join us at The Barnes Foundation Friday, November 13.

For the first time ever, The Barnes Foundation is open exclusively for college students in this free event. There is so much in store at this event aside from the astounding Barnes collection. Experience the art next to performances, refreshments, special guests, and of course- all your college friends!

Start off the night exploring the fine art. Learn the stories and mysteries that lie behind each painting through Totally Twisted, the tours that will run every 15 minutes. Discover the artwork in a whole new light. Whether you have seen the Barnes collection or not, you have never experienced it like this.

Aside from the world-renowned collection, there is even more visual and musical art to enjoy. Check out the smooth tunes by Temple University’s very own Eric Montague Quintet! They will jazz up the party from and let you warm up your moves.

Speaking of dance moves, you won’t want to miss a choreographed performance by Inger Cooper and University of the Arts alumni. Their dance is sure to blow you away and inspire you to dance like no one is watching.

It won’t matter who’s watching you dance once Worldtown takes the stage- since everyone else will be too! Their house jam rhythm and beats will keep the party going the rest of the evening. You may remember this DJ from Collegefest or other show-stopping performances in Philly. Come groove out to Worldtown again and check out Worldtown’s newest song, Testify. Get a sneak peak into the performance by watching the latest music video.

All of this exploring and dancing is sure to work up an appetite. Great news is, like any good party, there will be light refreshments! These aren’t your average snacks but rather a cheese board, antipasti, and assorted bruschetta. We couldn’t expect anything less from such a beautiful fine arts establishment.

There are more surprises on the agenda, but you will have to attend to find out! Register for free online for this global celebration of worldly art.
