Barnes Jawn(t): Morgan FitzPatrick Andrews
See Event Description
Join us for an evening tour full of make-believe as we play fast and loose with everything you thought you knew about the Barnes. In Philadelphia, jawn is catch-all word for anything. A Barnes Jawn(t) is an anything-goes tour of the collection with a fascinating Philly personality as your guide. These off-the-cuff, sure-to-run-off-the-rails tours are led by a diverse array of community leaders, artists, and comic-book nerds—all experts in their fields. Morgan FitzPatrick Andrews is an interdisciplinary performance artist and professor of socially engaged art at Goddard College, in Plainfield, Vermont. He worked with Vermont’s Bread & Puppet Theatre for a decade, spent five years making historical psychodramas in a haunted New Jersey mansion, and performed blindfolded for his one-man show Cones. Morgan is also on faculty at the Institute for Somatics and Social Justice, teaches yoga at Studio 34, and produces the meditation-comedy podcast Nobody Knows.
