Zhenni Li was the unanimous First Prize winner of the Concours Musical de France. She also received top prizes from the International Russian, Grieg, Midwest, Kosciusko Chopin, and Heida Hermanns international piano competitions. She has performed in Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Morgan Library, the Théâtre de Vevey in Switzerland, and the National Concert Hall of Tianjin, China. Upcoming, she appears as concerto soloist with the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra and releases a recording of works of Sergei Bortkiewicz for the Steinway & Sons label. Recent highlights include debut recitals in Carnegie Hall and the Berlin Philharmonie, and her debut recording, Mélancholie, also for Steinway & Sons. She holds degrees from The Juilliard School and the Yale School of Music, and currently pursues a doctoral degree at McGill University. Recital repertoire includes works by Beethoven, Debussy, Mussourgsky, and more.
