EgoPo Classic Theater
EgoPo is a professional, non-profit repertory company committed to re-imagining the great classics of theater and literature through bold and visionary stagings that fully envelop audiences in new, fantastical worlds. We cultivate audience’s appetite for, and appreciation of, profound, dramatic masterpieces by turning a night at the theater into a provocative, innovative and inspiring event. EgoPo fosters an ensemble of actors and designers who collaborate throughout a season and over the long-term in order to achieve consistent artistic excellence. EgoPo’s professional conservatory advances the art of acting and nurtures new acting talent. All performances take place at the Latvian Society at 531 N. 7th Street in Philadelphia. The theater is 6 blocks from the Spring Garden stop on the Market Street Line, and 7 blocks from the Spring Garden stop on the Broad Street Line. Coming from outside the city, the theater is only two blocks from the 5th and Spring Garden exit off of the Ben Franklin Bridge.
